The recent incident on Brickell Key involving a distressed dog and a good Samaritan has sparked controversy and conflicting accounts of what really happened. The owner of the dog, Kodi Vidrine, denies allegations of kicking his dog into the bay and shoving the woman who tried to help. Despite video evidence showing the chaotic scene, Vidrine insists that his dog is a good swimmer and slipped into the water on its own.
On the other hand, the good Samaritan, Jadee Guidice, claims that she witnessed Vidrine kicking his dog into the water and tried to intervene to help the animal. She stated that Vidrine requested her to take a video for his show, but she refused as she believed the dog was in distress and needed immediate assistance. A video posted on social media shows Vidrine blocking Guidice from reaching the dog and splashing water in her face.
The conflicting stories have led to a police investigation to determine if charges will be filed in this case. Despite the incident, the dog was eventually rescued and remains with its owner.
